Video for consumer brands, from launch film to ad variation
Launch films, ad variations, event content and vertical cutdowns, shot and edited in-house so a product launch keeps running long after release day.
Colt Concepts makes product launch video for consumer brands: the hero film, the ad variations, the event content and the vertical cutdowns, all shot and edited by one in-house team. We've done this work for Dove Men+Care, Celsius, Red Bull and Brooks Running, with consumer brand video production starting at $1,500.
Launch creative that keeps running
The best launch creative is built to run for months, not just launch week. That means shooting enough variety on set to feed paid and social long after release day.
For the Dove Men+Care launch campaign, we shot listed, directed, shot and color graded the launch of a new deodorant line. We shot five different ad variations, and they've been running for five months since launch.
Five variations from one production gives a media team room to test, rotate and refresh without going back to set. That's the planning we bring to every launch: decide on set what the campaign will need in month three, not just day one.
A creative pipeline for paid
Paid social burns through creative fast, so we build a pipeline that keeps producing fresh variants instead of re-cutting one hero ad.
Celsius was relying on a small set of hero assets that kept getting re-cut, and the same audiences kept seeing the same hooks. We shot modular footage, with separate hook, product and payoff clips that recombine into many versions. That fed 20+ paid variants per test cycle, a weekly creative performance readout, and a standing production block every month so the pipeline never ran dry.
If you're running paid, our ads team can work from the same footage library, so testing and production stay in step.
Event and on-site content
Event content is worth most while the event is still happening, so we edit on site.
For Red Bull, we ran multi-camera capture with a runner offloading cards continuously and an edit station set up at the event. The first clips were published while the event was still running. A same-day highlight reel and hourly vertical clips went out during the event, the full recap film followed within 48 hours, and a stills package covered press and partners.

Athletic and lifestyle brands
Athletic and lifestyle brands live on moments, and we plan production around the window when people are paying attention.
For Brooks Running and runner Nic Vans at the New York City Marathon, we built the concept and script before race day, ran a lean crew through marathon weekend and finished the edit in Florida, delivering the brand film in under 48 hours. For athlete-led projects, see our sports and athletes page.
What we make for consumer brands
We make everything a launch needs, from one shoot:
- Launch films. The hero piece for your site, launch event and paid campaigns. See commercial production.
- Product demos. Short, clear clips that show the product working.
- Ad variations. Multiple hooks, lengths and calls to action for testing.
- Vertical cutdowns. Native versions for social feeds and stories. See social video.
- Stills. Photography from the same set, for press, retail partners and ads.
If your focus is online store performance rather than launch and brand creative, our ecommerce page covers that work.
How a launch shoot runs with us
A launch shoot runs in four steps, and the variations are planned before anyone picks up a camera.
- Brief and placements. We start from where the creative will run: site, paid social, retail screens, the launch event. That list decides the formats, lengths and number of versions.
- Concept and shot list. We write the hero idea and the shot list together, so every hook, product close-up and payoff needed for cutdowns is captured on the day.
- Production. One crew shoots the film, the variations, the vertical versions and the stills, which keeps the look consistent across every placement.
- Edit and delivery. The hero film comes first, then the variations and cutdowns in the sizes each platform needs, labeled so your media team can launch and test without guessing.
When the campaign needs fresh creative later, the footage library is already there to cut from.

FAQs
Product launch video is priced starting at $1,500 for short-form social video, starting at $3,500 for brand video and starting at $5,000 for commercials and ad spots. The final price depends on shoot days, locations, talent and how many versions you need.
A product launch video package should include a hero film, short feature cutdowns that each show one benefit, and vertical versions for social and paid placements, all shot in one production.
It depends on your budget and how fast your creative wears out. For Celsius we built 20+ paid variants per test cycle and read performance weekly. That's our practice for fast categories, not a fixed rule.
Yes. For Red Bull we set up an on-site edit station, so the first clips were published while the event was still running and a same-day highlight reel followed.
