Video and marketing for travel and hospitality brands
Stories shot on location, the social and ad cutdowns that come from them, and the pages they run on, made by one in-house team.
Colt Concepts makes video and marketing for travel and hospitality brands: stories shot on location, the social and ad cutdowns that come from them, and the web pages they run on. Our travel work includes seven long-form videos for Dream Vacations, filmed on location at real franchises, with travel and hospitality video production starting at $1,500.
Who is this for?
This work is for travel and hospitality businesses that need people to feel the experience before they book or buy in:
- Travel agencies and travel franchises recruiting owners or advisors, or selling trips.
- Tour and charter operators who need to show the day, not describe it.
- Hotels, venues and hospitality groups that want content made from the real guest experience.
What these businesses share is that a brochure can't do the selling. The product is a feeling, a place or a way of life, and video is the closest a buyer gets to it before they commit.
Proof: Dream Vacations
For Dream Vacations, we produced seven long-form videos for prospective franchise owners, filmed on location at real franchises.
The brief was to show prospective franchisees what ownership actually looks like. We filmed day-to-day operations at real franchise locations rather than staged sales footage, so viewers see the business as it actually runs. The videos live directly on the Dream Vacations site, which meant the production quality had to hold up for long-form viewing. Scripting, editing and B-roll were handled by the same team end to end.

What we make for travel and hospitality brands
We make the video a travel or hospitality brand needs across the whole buying journey:
- Destination and on-location stories. The place, the people and the experience, filmed where it happens.
- Owner and advisor stories. Real people explaining why they chose the business, for recruitment and trust. See corporate and brand video.
- Recruitment video. Long-form films for prospective franchisees, advisors or staff, like the Dream Vacations series.
- Social cutdowns. Vertical clips for feeds and stories. See social video.
- Ad spots. Short, punchy versions for paid campaigns. See commercial production.
Every format comes from the same production, so the look and the message stay consistent wherever someone sees you.
Travel agency marketing strategy in practice: one shoot, many placements
The most efficient travel marketing strategy is to plan one shoot that feeds every channel, instead of producing for each one separately.
In practice, that means deciding before the shoot where the content will live: the website, social feeds, paid ads, email and sales conversations. The shot list then covers the long-form story, the short moments that work as vertical clips, and the clean product shots ads need. One day on location can supply weeks of content.
Our guide to short-form video strategy for brands explains how to plan the cutdowns, and our ads team can put the ad versions to work.
Websites and booking pages that carry the video
A strong film only pays off if it lands on a page that turns interest into an enquiry or booking. Our web team builds those pages in-house, alongside the video.
That means the page is designed around the video from the start: the film placed where it answers the visitor's first question, short clips beside each section, and a clear next step without a hunt for the button. When the same team makes the video and the page, nothing gets lost between them.
How a travel or hospitality shoot runs
A travel shoot runs in four steps, and most of the work happens before we arrive on location.
- Brief. We agree on who the video is for, what they need to feel, and every place the content will run.
- Plan. We walk through the location with you, write the story and build a shot list that covers the main film and every cutdown.
- Shoot. We film real operations and real people, working around guests and the business's normal day.
- Edit and delivery. The main film comes first, then the social and ad versions in each platform's sizes.
