Dove Men+Care
Social media management, with content made in-house
We plan your channels, make the content, post it, answer your community and report on what's working, all from one team.
Colt Concepts offers social media management services with the content made in-house: we set the strategy, plan a monthly calendar, make the posts, publish them, reply to your community and report on what's working. Because our own crew shoots the video and our own designers make the graphics, your feed is built from original content, not templates.
What's included in our social media management?
Our social media management covers running your channels from plan to report:
- Strategy. Who you're trying to reach, what you want them to do, and the handful of content themes that will get them there.
- Platform choice. The two or three channels where your buyers actually spend time, not every app at once.
- Monthly content calendar. Every post planned and shared with you for approval before the month starts.
- Content creation. Video, graphics, photos and captions, made by our team.
- Posting. Scheduled and published at the right times for each platform.
- Community management. Replies to comments and messages, so people who engage get an answer.
- Reporting. A monthly report on what moved, what didn't and what changes next.
You approve the calendar. We handle the rest.
Content made in-house, not from templates
The biggest difference in our social media management is that the content is original, made by the same team that runs your channels.
Template posting services fill a feed with stock images and recycled graphics. Ours comes from real shoots of your business, your people and your product. Our social video team films and edits the short-form video, and our design team makes the graphics and carousels. That's work we already do at volume: for VV Sourcing we shoot and edit 33+ ads every month, and for the Dove Men+Care launch we shot five ad variations that have been running for five months since launch.
When the people planning the calendar are the same people making the content, a good idea in a strategy meeting can be on camera the next week.
Which platforms, and why not all of them?
The right platforms are the ones where your buyers already spend time and where you can post well and consistently. For most businesses that's two or three, not six.
How we choose:
- Where your buyers are. A B2B service and a restaurant need very different channels.
- What you can show. Visual products and places suit video-first platforms; expertise suits longer posts and video.
- What you can sustain. Doing two channels well beats doing five badly.
Our guide to short-form video strategy for brands explains how we plan content for vertical-video platforms.
Who is social media management for?
Social media management suits businesses that know social matters but don't have the time or the team to do it well:
- Owners doing it themselves who post when they remember and want it handled properly.
- Marketing teams of one or two who need a content team behind them.
- Brands with good products and a quiet feed whose social presence doesn't match the business.
- Businesses already running ads that need a steady supply of fresh content.
If you only need the content and already have someone to post it, our social video production service may be the better fit.
Reporting: what we measure
We report on the metrics tied to your goal, not just follower counts. Every month you see:
- Reach and impressions: how many people saw your content.
- Engagement: comments, shares, saves and replies, the signals that people cared.
- Video performance: views and how long people watched.
- Clicks and leads: visits to your site and enquiries that started on social.
- What we're changing: the content that worked, the content that didn't, and next month's plan.
Our guide to video marketing metrics explains which numbers matter for each goal.
Paid social
Organic posting builds an audience; paid social reaches people who don't follow you yet. Many businesses need both.
Our ads team can put budget behind your best-performing posts, run campaigns to new audiences and retarget people who've visited your site, using the same content library. When organic and paid are run by one team, you can see which posts are worth promoting before you spend on them.
How social media management works with us
Social media management runs on a monthly cycle:
- Onboarding. We learn your business, audit your current channels and agree on goals. Our strategy work sets the direction.
- Content shoot. We capture a batch of video and photos for the month ahead.
- Calendar. You review and approve the month's posts.
- Posting and community. We publish and reply to comments and messages.
- Report and adjust. We review the numbers and shape next month's plan.
What does social media management cost?
Social media management is quoted per business, because the cost depends on how many platforms, how many posts and how much content needs making. We don't sell fixed packages.
What shapes the quote:
- Platforms: how many channels we run.
- Volume: how many posts and videos each month.
- Content: how much is shot new versus repurposed.
- Community: how much comment and message traffic you get.
