VV Sourcing

Lead generation that starts with the ad and ends at the form

We make the ad creative, build the landing page and set up the tracking, so every lead can be traced back to the ad that earned it.

Colt Concepts runs video-led lead generation: we handle the lead generation video production, build a focused lead generation landing page for each offer, and set up tracking that ties every lead back to the ad that produced it. One team handles all three, so when results move, we can see why and fix the right piece.

What our lead generation work includes

Our lead generation work covers everything between a stranger seeing your ad and your team getting their details:

  • Offer and audience. Who you want to hear from and what they get for raising their hand: a quote, a consultation, a guide, a demo.
  • Ad creative. Video and static ads written for that audience and that offer, shot and edited in-house.
  • Landing page. One page per offer, built to match the ad that sent the visitor.
  • Form. Short, clear and placed where the decision happens. Our guide to designing a high-converting contact form shows the details we sweat.
  • Conversion tracking. Every form, call button and booking tied back to the campaign and ad behind it.
  • Testing. New hooks, headlines and offers rotated in on a set rhythm.
  • Reporting. Cost per lead, lead quality and what we're changing next, in plain language.

When the ad, the page and the tracking come from different vendors, a drop in leads turns into finger-pointing. When they come from one team, it turns into a fix.

Why the creative is made in-house

We make the creative in-house because the ad is usually the biggest lever in lead generation, and testing it properly takes a steady supply of new versions.

That's work we already do at volume. For VV Sourcing, we shoot and edit 33+ ads every month. Producing at that pace means new hooks and angles are always ready to test, instead of the same ad running until it stops working.

Strategy matters as much as volume. For SRS, the job was rebuilding the funnel around a long B2B buying process instead of chasing short-term lead volume. Media was optimized for cheap leads that rarely closed. We mapped the real buying cycle, built content for the months between first contact and decision, and reweighted reporting from lead count to pipeline contribution. Cheap leads that never buy aren't a win, and we'd rather tell you that early.

For larger productions, our commercial video team shoots the hero spots that cutdowns come from.

Why every offer gets its own landing page

Every offer gets its own landing page because a page that matches the ad exactly converts better than a page trying to speak to everyone.

A homepage has to serve every visitor: past customers, job seekers, people comparing you. A landing page has one job. It repeats the promise the ad made, answers the questions that stop people enquiring, shows proof, and asks for one action. Our guide to landing page conversion best practices covers the full checklist.

Our web team builds these pages alongside the creative, so the video in the ad and the video on the page come from the same shoot and tell the same story.

How we track every lead back to its source

We track every lead to the campaign and ad that produced it by setting up conversion tracking before launch, not after.

That means each form submission, click-to-call and booking is recorded as a conversion in your analytics and ad platforms, with the source carried through. The setup is in our guides to setting up conversion tracking and GA4 website analytics.

Without tracking, you're judging ads by clicks. With it, you can see which ad, which audience and which page produced the enquiries that turned into customers, and spend more there.

Cost per lead vs cost per acquisition: what we report on

We report cost per lead and, wherever your sales data allows, cost per acquisition, because a cheap lead is only good if it turns into a customer.

Cost per lead tells you what each enquiry costs. Cost per acquisition tells you what each paying customer costs. Optimizing for the first alone tends to reward low-quality leads. Our guide to cost per lead vs cost per acquisition explains how to use both.

In practice, we ask your team which leads closed, feed that back into the reporting, and shift budget toward the ads and audiences producing buyers, not just form fills.

How a lead generation project runs

A lead generation project runs in six steps:

  1. Audit. We review your current ads, pages, tracking and how leads are handled once they arrive.
  2. Offer. We agree on the audience, the offer and what counts as a qualified lead.
  3. Shoot. We produce the ad creative and the video for the landing page in one production.
  4. Page. We build the landing page and form, and set up conversion tracking end to end.
  5. Launch. Campaigns go live with tracking checked on every conversion point. Our ads team runs the campaigns.
  6. Weekly tuning. We read the numbers each week, retire what's not working and test new creative.

What does lead generation cost?

Lead generation has three separate costs: ad spend, production and management.

CostWhat it coversPrice
Ad spendPaid to the ad platformsSet by you
Commercial or ad spotHero ad creativeStarting at $5,000
Short-form social videoSocial ad versionsStarting at $1,500

Ad spend goes directly to the platforms, so you can always see it. Production depends on how much creative the campaigns need. Management is quoted per project once we know the scope.

FAQs

A lead generation agency builds the system that turns strangers into enquiries: the offer, the ads, a landing page, the form and the tracking that shows which ads produce leads. We make the creative and pages in-house and tune them weekly.

Lead generation has three costs: ad spend, paid to the platforms; production, with commercials starting at $5,000 and short-form social video starting at $1,500; and management, which we quote per project.

Cost per lead is what you pay for each enquiry. Cost per acquisition is what you pay for each paying customer. CPA tells you whether leads are worth it. Our guide to cost per lead vs cost per acquisition goes deeper.

They can, but a focused landing page usually serves an ad better. A homepage speaks to everyone, while a landing page matches one offer, one audience and one next step.
