Red Bull: Event Coverage Cut and Delivered Same Day
Event content has a short half-life. Anything published two days later competes with everything else that happened since. For Red Bull we built a workflow designed to publish while the event was still happening.
The challenge
Traditional post workflows meant the best moments went live after the audience had moved on. The brief was same-day delivery without a drop in production quality.
Our approach
- Ran a multi-camera capture with a runner offloading cards continuously.
- Set up an on-site edit station so assembly started during the event, not after.
- Pre-built edit templates, graphics, and audio beds so the cut only needed footage.
What we delivered
- Same-day highlight reel
- Hourly vertical clips during the event
- Full recap film delivered within 48 hours
- Stills package for press and partners
The results
- First clips were published while the event was still running
- Same-day recap captured peak audience interest instead of the tail
- Partner and press requests were fulfilled without a second turnaround cycle
The takeaway
For live events, speed is a production decision you make before the shoot, not after.
